I am a Professor of Mathematics and Chair of the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics at Ursinus College, where I hold the Joseph Beardwood III Chair of Mathematics. My research focuses on discrete Morse theory, digital topology, and topological data analysis. I am the author of the first comprehensive textbook on discrete Morse theory (AMS, 2019), and I regularly collaborate with undergraduate students on research projects.
